EMT-Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (Multiple Positions)
Job Summary
Elite Medcare, LLC specializes in non-emergency medical transportation. Join our team as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), where your expertise will be vital in responding to non-emergency ambulance calls, provide appropriate medical care, and ensure safe, timely transportation of patients to medical facilities and back home.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Adhering to all corporate policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the ambulance is clean, stocked, and ready for service.
- Responding promptly and safely to dispatched non-emergency calls.
- Providing appropriate patient care in accordance with the EMT scope of practice and standing orders.
- Completing all required documentations accurately and in a timely manner
- Working shifts of 8 to 12 hours minimum, with schedules subject to change based on operational needs.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Current Georgia State EMT certification (national certification alone is not accepted).
- valid driver’s license.
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work effectively with coworkers and external customers.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to lift and maneuver patients safely with assistance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
Mandatory Physical Requirements
(Evaluated during training)
- Ability to lift and transfer patients on a stretcher, with assistance.
